Porch writing and a new book!

Business first today because it’s important. I have a second Substack newsletter that goes out every Friday, with a chapter from a past story or a current work in progress in it. The only way you get to read the chapter is if you have a paid subscription.

This newsletter, Letters from Elder Ridge - will always be free. The Graffridge Publishing newsletter? That will always be paid. A subscription starts at $5 a month, or $55 for the year. This year has been really bad for book sales, and I needed to find a way to supplement my income, so I learned more about subscriptions and got rolling.

I got some porch writing done this week. It was cool enough to sit outside without melting, and it was glorious!

In other news - most of you should have King on your e-readers if you preordered it. It went live some places on the 17th, the 20th for others. (meaning, if you don’t have it yet, give it a couple of days. It’s being processed.)

I finished it late Thursday night (whoohoo!) and started uploading it after midnight on Friday morning. However - if you preordered it from my website? You got it on the 16th. Congrats!

I’ve already started writing Queen, because I’m determined to get this series finished in the next couple of months.
