New Year, New Stuff
I think I’ve rewritten this post six different times. What do I say? How do I not sound like an idiot? What do people want to know?
Why this, why now
I’ve tried different ways of staying connected to my readers and they either feel like junk mail flyers or ‘just one more thing’ that lands in your email box. I don’t want to be all about the ‘sell sell sell’ mentality. Yes, I want you to buy my books - but I also want you to want to buy my books.
(Speaking of which, you can buy them here at https://tkeldridge.com)
What I hope to build with this
I want to let you see behind the curtain a little more. I’m hoping to share more of the creative and business sides of things so you can get a better idea of what it means to be an author who runs their own publishing business.
The details
I’ll be publishing a post every Sunday.
-Free subscribers get the basic, chatty newsletter
-Paid subscribers get a variety of add-ons like snippets from the current work-in-progress, more detail about what’s going on in my world, and early access to new releases.
Something New
I’m also going to share something that’s been popular on my FB page - Views from my porch. At first, I didn’t think people would really be all that interested - but it seems to be one of the things that gets the most reactions.

That - and photos of the puppers. Bear will be 10 in February. He’s a 3/4 Yorkie/1/4 Chinuahua, 8lbs of attitude and demanding snuggles, while Ace is a Shar Pei/Pitty mix, about five years old, and 68lbs of snuggle and love.

Anyway - that’s what’s going on with this new venture and I hope to see you all enjoying the new content and format. Thanks for reading!
