The cold has finally made an appearance and I’ve spent the week huddled over the keyboard, getting Saoirse done. Shopping is done for the holidays and once Saoirse is uploaded and ready to go, I’ll be relaxing with books and tv for a week before I worry about end of year admin stuff.
Have you picked up your copy of Jolene yet? What do you think? Starting a new series is always a mix of stressful and exciting. Exciting to see where this new world is going to take me, as the writer - and you, as the reader. Stressful, because with every single book I write, there’s the thought “What if they don’t like it?”
I’ve invested a lot of resources into the Supernatural Intelligence Network as a series already, so I’m hoping you dive in and find something you like in it.
Don’t worry, I’ll still be writing the last two Chess Club books - and more of the Ghost-Talker series - they’re slated for early 2024. I also have plans for a subscriber-only serial story, and a wrap up story for the Winthrop series - so there’s plenty of writing to come.
Waverly is another book in the shared world series - by K. Rea. Check out this one!
She's a hunter, he’s a shifter, and the town of Eydis Falls will never be the same.
Left behind to watch over the guild house while Alysia and Liam are on missions in the city, Waverly is the only hunter left to investigate reports of a gruesome creature and unusual animal behavior around the town of Eydis Falls. The town is charming if a bit rough around the edges, and the citizens are little less than welcoming.
Least welcoming among them and owner of more than half the woods surrounding Eydis Falls, the handsome Connor Evert.
Despite Connor’s warning to stay out of the woods, Waverly ventures in with no backup in sight. When she thinks she’s about to be a monster’s midnight snack–a black wolf emerges from the shadow of the woods.
Sweaty, shirtless, and bearing the alpha mark of the Erkki wolf pack on display–Connor is furious. The wolf shifter’s prepared to teach Waverly why little red-headed hunters should never go into the woods.
The hunt is on as the hunters become the hunted. Can Waverly and Connor put aside centuries of animosity, work together to stop the creature and investigate the growing bond between them or will they fall victim to the hunt?
Have a well deserved, relaxing holiday!
I have my copy just waiting for a quiet moment to read !!
