It’s been cold this week. Usually we don’t see temps this low around here until February. Got a good snowstorm that gave us about four inches of the white stuff - and it mostly melted within two days. Then we had ice - which is more common than the snow in these parts. Suffice to say I’ve been snuggled into my fleece leggings, wearable blanket, and my old Bombas slippers to stay warm.
This week was a lot of audio work for Graffridge Publishing’s page and more writing on Queen. I’m still hoping to get it done by the end of the month - and so far, I’m on track for that.
Other than that? I’ve been doing what my fellow author friends call refilling the well. That means reading someone else’s work or watching a TV show or movie. Taking time to absorb someone else’s creativity so I don’t burn out and end up unable to manage my own creative processes.
I found Mistletoe Mysteries and it’s really sweet and intriguing enough to keep me interested. They’re slow to feed the bits of information about the female lead, so when you do get those bits, they’re so delicious! Let me know if you check it out.
Now, there are a bunch of things in this newsletter - two free books and a promo for Kobo Plus audio that’s got Curls & Chaos in it - and some good promos after that. Do me (and yourself!) a favor and click on these things. It really makes a difference as to what promos I’m allowed in when they see clicks coming from my links.
They say love conquers all.
They say love will find a way.
They say it is better to have loved and lost.
They don't say...that these things are all lies.
Conall Williams was my first, my last, my everything.
He is my North. He always will be. Even if I am no longer his.

Upper East Sider Leora Caivano has the perfect life — not.
She's in her senior year in high school, lives alone with her mother...and she's slowly losing her freaking mind.
Then British Billionaire Conall Williams — ripped, elite, and absolutely, mouth-wateringly gorgeous — walks into her life.
Technically, she's old enough to be with him according to the law. But will he want to be with her if he knows how old she really is?
Maybe she should lie about her age...
This story is a prequel to the Sterling Chains series.
"I’m alone in New York City, an ocean away from my clan in England. This is the price I’m paying for an aged soothsayer naming me the woman to bring forth the most powerful Lycan ever known. Now a ruthless gangster wants me for his bride, and all I want is a life of my own. So I ran away, straight into a random encounter with a former FBI agent turned private investigator named Ashley Sterling. The magic coming off of him is more powerful than I’ve ever sensed. On top of that, he has premonitions–and he’s handsome. I’m attracted, terrified and intrigued at the same time. Can he help me?"
"My best friend is a chick magnet. Me, I’m more of a trouble magnet. Okay, half the time as an investigator I go looking for it, but as soon as I catch her eyes on the subway, all the bells in my head ring. The woman from my premonition is right in front of me. She’s in trouble, on the run. Olivia is also beautiful and sensed my magic immediately. How can I not be intrigued? I’ve stepped in to help her, even though every signal in my brain tells me that by doing so, my life will never be the same."
