Things have started to settle out around Elder Ridge and I’m beyond grateful. February, for me, has always seemed like the month that takes absolutely forever to get through, and yet it has the fewest amount of days.
I’ve had a few people ask me how it works when they buy from my shop, so here it is. If you’re buying a paperback or hardcover, that is printed and shipped by BookVault and takes about 10-14 days on an average. You can get it faster if you choose Fed Ex, but the shipping costs are, of course, higher. BookVault is a UK company with a distribution center in the US, so you’re not paying UK to US shipping prices. It’s also great for my European readers to be able to get books shipped for less.
If you buy an e-book or an audiobook, you will get an email within minutes from BookFunnel with instructions on how to download your purchase. Unless its a preorder - then you’ll get the email the day the book is released. If you have a Kindle or Nook reader, there will be specific instructions for those. However, if you like to listen/read on your phone or tablet, I’d suggest you grab the free BookFunnel app. It’s available on the Apple and Google Play stores and, unlike Audible or KU, they won’t randomly delete your books when they decide they don’t like the content, etc. (Also, all of the books are a little cheaper on my store. Yes, I just went and updated prices to make sure they were ALL lowered.)
BookFunnel also has great customer service and can help you if there are any issues. I am so glad I found this company and its services.
I’m going to keep encouraging people to buy from my website shop over the other places because I can make sure you’re getting a good quality product - and I’m not held hostage to ridiculous rules and outright abusive practices. I get that you’re comfortable with how you’ve always done it - but more and more authors are going to direct sales because of the antics of shops like Amazon. Just this week, Amazon pulled the accounts of several authors because their bot found pirated copies of the author’s books on pirate sites.
It is physically impossible to track down every pirated copy of one of your books, and new sites pop up all the time. Pirating books is a violation against the author - and Amazon treats the author like a criminal.
I know, I know - you’ve heard it all before - but that kind of behavior is why I’m doing the direct sales website/shop at https://tkeldridge.com.
My reputation and my business depend on being able to get my books into your hands reliably, in good condition, and at a good price. That is no longer guaranteed with some of the bigger stores.
Anyway - now you understand how the shop works, and why.
Now - how would you like to see a cover for the new series? This is the first in the Ghost-Talker series… check it out! It will be released first on my website at $3.99, so grab your preorder here. When it goes live everywhere else, it will stay $3.99 on my website, but $4.99 everywhere else.
Death forever alters the lives of those left behind. For six individuals, surviving tragedy was only the beginning. Life goes on--and sometimes, what we think we've lost can linger. When true love never dies, the ghosts of our past can become our companions in seizing our future.
The past just won't leave her alone.
Evangeline "Van" Beaujolais was one of AP's best journalists, traveling the globe with her photographer, Liam Grant. She had a brilliant career, a beautiful condo in Seattle that she shared with the love of her life, Marcus Weatherby, and friends that made up her chosen family.
An assignment to cover a local music festival ended in tragedy, and Van walked away from it all. Marcus' death broke something in her that Van thought could never be made right.
Now, haunted by more than just her grief, Van falls under the guidance of her psychotherapist, Dr. Arabella Hadley, to uncover the reason why she can't lay Marcus' literal ghost to rest.
Liam Grant and her chosen family had never given up on her, and Marcus won't either. Not until she overcomes the dark shadow of mourning and seizes her place among the living.
Every secret I never knew about myself was revealed by someone who should not exist.
But they do, monsters exist.
They are all around us... and I am the one they want the most. They crave my blood.
The biggest secret of all? I'm one of those monsters, too.
Now someone has created an army that threatens to destroy the Vampire King that calls me his mate. Either I accept the monster I am or I lose one I've come to love
Hunter’s Blood by R. Sullins
Morgan McCallister was a bear shifter who had given up on finding his fated mate. He was growing long in the tooth and tired of the bar hopping and hookups. None of the women he met were her. The one the man longed for, the one the bear needed. Without a mate, he would go rogue—a fate he wouldn’t wish upon any shifter.
