Spring is coming!
The past few days have been warm with small bits of rain. It has been a welcome change from the bitter cold and I’m feeling spring is on the way. I’ve been able to leave the front door open for the boys to go in and out on the porch and they’re just so happy.
The cleanup from Friday 13th’s fire is slow going and the situation is still a nightmare, but I have to keep going back to “No one was hurt and the animals are all safe.” I’ll amend that with ‘no one was physically hurt’ because the psychological trauma is very real. But, I’m an author and this will find it’s way into a book, I can promise you that. Also, my neighbors have been wonderfully supportive and helpful, and that really makes all the difference.
I’m back working on Gone on Arrival and I’m really loving Roisin’s story. Rosie is a tough lady with a heart as big as the sky and an intellect that scares some folks. I think you’re really going to love this one. You can preorder it here:
Also, heads up - it’s the last day for Yolo with Kobo!

So pleased to hear the weather is improving and that the fire didn't no any damage to people or pets. It's wonderful to have great neighbours at times like this.
Onwards and upwards as they say.
