This was a cold and snowy week here at Elder Ridge. I made chili and broccoli cheddar soup in the slow cooker and baked bread. The snow was a decent amount for around here, but it was the layer of ice that kept everyone tucked in. It’ll melt on Sunday when it hits the mid 40sF/7Cs.
I’ve been working on the audio recordings for Graffridge Publishing’s ‘stack and writing on Queen. Yes, I know it’s taking longer than I said it would - but trauma brain and creative brain do not play well together. That I’m getting any words down at all is, to me, a freakin’ miracle.
With that said, if you’ve been thinking about buying some books, please do so. Or if you’ve thought about subscribing to the Graffridge Substack, please sign up. I’m really struggling here still and the support centers around town have closed up, so I could use the resources.
In other news, Chess is growing fast and Bear is starting - slowly- to warm up to him. Ace loves play time with the puppy - and snuggle time.
Because I’ve got a couple of Round Robins crossing over each other, you get last week’s book again this week. I love Tracy’s work and you can just consider this a second chance to get her book for free.
Stay safe out there.

Yet Aslan is not the simple businessman he appears to be. Flagged by the CIA, Aslan’s contact with Quinn sends up alarms and thrusts Quinn into the middle of an affair with unseen roots in Denis’ past, and with world-shaking consequences if Quinn doesn’t play her part perfectly…
