Happy Solstice!
Depending on which hemisphere you reside in, it was either the Summer or Winter Solstice yesterday. It was the summer solstice for me, so I made a pitcher of lemonade and had some watermelon to celebrate. The boys love watermelon, so they got some too - of course.
We had a few summer thunderstorms this week and Chess prefers to be touching me, or as close to me as he can get when the sky makes noise. Here he is, sleeping next to me on my bed after the storm woke me up the other night.
In book news, I got the reworked covers done for the Forge County Mysteries series. I’ll work on Sammy Jo’s story once I’m done with Storm’s Witness.
