It’s been a wonderful week, celebrating our birthdays with my cousin, Diane. We ate amazing food, had some deep conversations, lots of laughter, and spent hours on the porch just reading and being together. It was perfect.
After about three days of not writing, though - I got twitchy and settled into the office for a couple of hours of getting words down. I honestly cannot go too long without writing - it’s an addiction, I tell ya!
King is coming along beautifully and I -should- have it done within the next two weeks. My son has a minor surgery on the 30th, and I’d like to have it done before then, so here’s hoping.
Have you read the free chapter I posted? It’s here if you’re interested. And if you’ve not preordered it, grab it now so BookFunnel can email you when it’s ready to download.
Thank you for all of the birthday wishes - it was really a wonderful day and I’m feeling rested and well-loved - and ready to finish this book!
Speaking of finished books - Remington is in this anthology and it’s up for preorder with a release date of August 1st!
I’m so glad you had a great visit! Also glad you still have the writing desire! This tweaked a brain cell here. A good friend of mine has been on the radio for years, has the beautiful, rich radio voice that’s easy to listen to. They got a new program manager who decided youth was better than voice and experience. Any clues on how someone might transition to recording audiobooks? He’s looking for some use of that voice, missing the microphone. Because my first thought was that he was the voice in my head when I read the Dead and Buried series.
