October is one of my favorite months of the year. It’s well and truly autumn, with warm days and cool nights and the glorious colors of the leaves. This month I’ll be working on learning a few more things that will help with the business, and working on Jolene and Saoirse - novels in the Supernatural Intelligence Network series. (Just a sidenote - Saoirse is pronounced like “sair-sha”.)
Speaking of SIN (Supernatural Intelligence Network), have you managed to get your copies of the two anthologies that released in September? Both Rejected by the Immortal and Monster Hunters are live - both are only 99c - and both support the American Red Cross. (If you did get them, let me know in the comments what you thought?)
Make sure you take a minute and preorder Jolene and Saoirse. They both release in December of this year. I’m excited about this new series and the characters that are already chattering away in my head.
Other than the writing stuff, there’s been a lot of life stuff going on. No, the porch isn’t finished yet, but we’re still making progress. I have to do things in stages, as I can afford them, so that makes some projects take a bit longer. It’s okay, though. Progress that’s slow is still progress, right?
Oh, almost forgot. You’ve got until the end of November to grab Everyday Heroes before it’s gone forever. Again, only 99c and this one has my favorite charity - the authors. Yes, we get paid for this one.
Ryker McCabe
Give me a room full of armed hostiles and I know exactly what to do. But a head full of memories? There's no evasion plan for those. Sit rep: I let my team down and nearly got us all killed.
I’m no coward. But I’m going dark. Back to Boston to exorcise a demon. Instead, I run into a woman being chased by her own. A jade-eyed redhead as soft and tiny as I am hard and rough. With a mouth made for sass, the heart of a fighter—and a potentially deadly problem.
Wren Kane
Ryker’s huge. Inked, scarred, and, at first glance, scary as all get out. Until I notice his mesmerizing, multi-colored eyes. He’s my last hope to prove my brother didn’t die of an overdose. My hacking skills only go so far, and good fudging luck finding anyone else insane enough to take on the Russian mob.
Danger throws gas on the sparks between us. But Russian drug lords don’t take betrayal lightly. And to bring down this monster, Ry will have to unleash his own.

I had a life once. Before someone tried to kill me.
My guardians say they’ll keep me safe from this killer, who will strike again, but it’s hard to be scared of something you don’t remember.
And the itch to escape is going to drive me crazy.
I have a choice to make. Stay inside where it’s safe, or risk it all for a taste of freedom.
As my nightmares become reality, I don’t think I can resist much longer.

Love their books. After discovering them, I’ve since read all their published books. Do we really have to wait until July 2024 for ‘King’?!?
