This is the last newsletter for October -and I can’t believe the month has gone by so quickly. I guess that’s what happens when you’re in survivor mode for days at a time.
I’m writing this on Thursday morning before I load up the car and go around the corner to do laundry and get a shower. I got a camp shower thing, but sometimes a girl just needs a really hot shower that takes less effort.
There is still no running water here, but clean up around town is starting to show progress. The power company came to trim back trees and clear up broken branches near lines and now the view from my porch is very different. The huge tree down to the left was domed off for the first time in the nearly six years I’ve lived here. Several of the other trees were cut shorter and my willow had a few branches trimmed off.
October 25th had the first audio chapter of And So It Begins released on the Graffridge Publishing ‘stack. Check out a sample below.
Since my mental focus is shot, I’ve been getting a lot of things done around the house and feeling productive with that. Hopefully, the focus will return when things settle out more.
Thank you all for your kind words and support during this time. It is truly appreciated.
Remember - clicking on the promos, even if you don’t buy/poke around, really does help my advertising reputation. Thanks!
It’s so easy to take for granted things like a hot shower, I’m glad you are able to do it even if it’s considered a “treat” right now. I’m not surprised the writing mojo isn’t flowing with all the chaos. The house things will help focus you and clearing out tangible clutter will help with the mental clutter as well.
Looking forward to Queen! Have a wonderful day!
